Started Laying down the Inks.
I think I watched For a Few Dollars More at least twice this past week. It made me wonder what it would be like if Boba Fett was a bounty hunter in the old west. So this illustration has a mix of Boba and Clint Eastwood’s Famous Pancho.
Drawing my black lab, Gracie. Such a great dog, if you can survive the first 2 years of a lab – there is a huge payoff.
I thought the expression was the right direction on the previous sketch but wanted to make him a bit more realistic.

Decided to go with a more realistic style for the cards, I’m working on a brush style that’ll look 70′s.

I watched this twice this weekend, I’ve heard about this movie for quite a while. Amazing visuals. There are so many symbols in this movie – GERTY’s emoticon, The Lunar logo, the harvester I was overwhelmed with all this great imagery. I needed to sit down and draw Sam in the moon, but I expect there will be more illustrations inspired by Moon.
