I Love Regular Show

I have been doing daily doodles of all the Regular Show characters. These have been fun little pieces to make and challenge myself to do everyday.

I’m a King Bee

Fat Guy in a Bee Suit

Added colors to the sketch. Didn’t realize that this was an old John Belushi skit on Saturday Night Live. Then I remembered that’s where I saw this imagery. Killer Bees -”they’re desparate, they’re banditos”

Benjamin Linus

Benjamin Linus

He is always up to something, and I never know what to think of him.

John Locke

John Locke

Quick sketch I did while I was watching Lost this week of Locke. He’s got these crazy expressions, you never know where this character is going, and he’s an interesting one to draw.

Paulie Walnuts

…I was born, grew up, spent a few years in the army, a few more in the can and here I am, a half o’ wise guy.

Tony Sirico is such a strong character. He has so many expressions, his mouth is always pursed up when he’s mad. Anyway I started with Paulie since the Sopranos has so many characters. I’ll keep working with this one and eventually make it into more of a caricature. There are so many expressions I could spend alot of time on this one. I was watching a Sopranos’ episode called “Mr. & Mrs. John Sacrimoni Request“. The episode is all about showing weakness, and acting “as if”. I’m always amazed at the writing of this show and how deep each episode can get. Anyway, it inspired me to look a little closer at the characters, and to try to draw them.

Although you can tell this is Paulie, I need to work better with eyes. That’s been my weak spot. This sketch was done with the Cintiq.
